Old National Bank earns top score on Disability Equality Index

Old National Bank earned top scores on the 2023 Disability Equality Index‘s Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.

The joint initiative with the American Association of People with Disabilities is a tool that helps companies make plans for inclusion and equality.

Old National earned 100 of 100 possible points, 20 more than it needed to be recognized on the list.

“This recognition underscores Old National’s commitment to providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities at all levels of our organization,” said Jim Ryan, Old National CEO, in a press release. “We firmly believe that championing inclusion — in all its many forms — makes Old National even stronger.”

Old National's corporate board is comprised of seven of 16 members who are women or people of color; nine of 20 executive leaders are women or people of color; 69% of team members are women; and 22% of team members are people of color, according to the bank's website.

Old National Bank has roots dating back to 1834 and focuses on community banking. It has 50 locations in Indiana, including South Bend and Elkhart. It has headquarters in Chicago and Evansville.
