Kruggel Lawton CPA's Allison Allman was honored with the 2026 Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants Women to Watch – Emerging Leader Award.
Allman is a CPA and the senior assurance manager in the firm's St. Joseph, Michigan, office. She works with nonprofits, municipalities and school districts. She also implements new accounting standards for the firm.
“This award is especially meaningful because it represents not only my own journey, but also the support, mentorship and encouragement I’ve received throughout my career,” said Allman in a press release. “I hope it serves as a reminder, especially to other women, that it’s possible to pursue big goals, lead confidently, and stay true to what matters most.
Allman also is involved in the Kruggel Lawton Women’s Initiative Network and NextGen programs. They help develop the next generation of leaders.
“Receiving this recognition motivates me to continue investing in others and helping the next generation of women see that leadership, integrity and balance can go hand in hand,” Allman said.
She also eared the Kruggel Lawton's HERM Award in 2025, which honors an employee who represents the values and spirit of the firm.
Allman also volunteers at nonprofits such as Girls on the Run Southwest Michigan, Junior Achievement and Lake Michigan College’s accounting advisory committee.

Allman will be honored at several events in October and November.
The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants has been serving accountants in the state for 125 years.
