Everwise Credit Union earned the Great Workplace certification from Great Place To Work for the second year in a row.
Great Place To Work based in California has been helping companies build workplace cultures for 30 years. More than 10,000 companies in 60 countries apply each year seeking certification. Certification is determined by employee feedback only.
Eighty percent of Everwise's 736 employees said the credit union is a great place to work, according to Great Place to Work research. Most of Everwise's employees have worked there between two and 10 years, 27% have been there less than two years and 14% more than 20 years.
“This achievement belongs to every employee at Everwise and reflects the culture we're continuing to build together through our shared values and commitment to one another,” said Jason Osterhage, president and CEO of Everwise, in a press release. “When people feel supported, valued and connected to a shared purpose, they can do their best work for our members and communities.”
Since their first certification, Everwise has developed more opportunities for employee feedback, incentives and professional development.
“Earning Great Place To Work Certification for a second consecutive year is encouraging, but we're even more focused on listening, learning and continuing to make Everwise an even better place to work,” Osterhage said.
The credit union's overall score increased 8% compared to the last certification.
“Any increase of 5% or larger is meaningful, and an increase of 8 percentage points year-over-year is uncommon and should be celebrated,” said Ruby Storm Green, culture coach with Great Place To Work.
