Cornerstone Alliance will recognize graduates of its business plan-certified program Oct. 1 during Elevate 2026.
“Elevate celebrates the entrepreneurs who are taking risks, creating opportunities and investing in the future of our communities,” said Brandy Jaquez, managing director of Cornerstone Alliance's Entrepreneurial Services, in a press release.
The eight-month certification program offers tools and resources to help entrepreneurs build a business plan and plan for growth.
“Bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors, and community partners allows us to celebrate their accomplishments and the support system behind their success,” Jaquez said.
Keynote speakers Amelia and Kirby Briske, who founded event venue the Blue Dress Barn, will share their story. Chris Rishko, managing director of small business at the Michigan Economic Development Corp. also will share remarks about entrepreneurship.
Elevate 2026 will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor. Tickets are available here.
