Harmony Healthcare IT earns key to South Bend

Mayor James Mueller presented a key to the City of South Bend to Harmony Healthcare IT for its commitment to the community.

CEO Brian Liddell accepted the honor on behalf of the technology company that helps healthcare organizations modernize their systems.

“To receive this recognition from the city where Harmony Healthcare IT was founded and has called home for 20 years is incredibly meaningful,” said Brian Liddell, CEO of Harmony Healthcare IT, in a press release.

He credited Harmony's 250 staff members for their commitment to service. The company has a 99% employee retention rate. Many call South Bend home.

“This milestone belongs to our people,” Liddell said. “Their commitment to our clients, to one another, and to our community has made Harmony Healthcare IT what it is today, and we’re proud to continue building our future here in South Bend.”

Harmony Healthcare IT's workplace culture includes the mission to “serve humbly.” Employees are offered paid time off to volunteer. It also specifically supports Christ Child Society of South Bend and the Polar Plunge, among other community initiatives.

The honor was bestowed during Harmony Healthcare IT's 20th anniversary celebration Oct. 6 at the Gillespie Conference & Special Event Center at the Hilton Garden Inn South Bend.

The company founded in 2006 has helped more than 500 healthcare organizations manage and archive data gathered from customers and systems.
