After 32 years, Jason Lippert said now is the right time for him to retire from LCI Industries based in Elkhart.
Independent Director Johnny Sirpilla will take over Lippert's CEO responsibilities until a search determines a replacement. LCI provides components for manufacturers that make recreational vehicles, cars, boats and prefabricated homes.
Lippert has been president and CEO and a member of the board of directors since 2003. He will continue to advise the company for a year during the transition. During Lippert's leadership, the company grew from $125 million to $4 billion in annual revenue, the board reported.
“At this important moment in the company’s journey, this is the right time for this change, and I look forward to working with – and cheering on – our team members and leaders as they take LCI Industries into its next chapter,” said Lippert in a press release.
Sirpilla has been on the board since 2019, and has worked in the RV and outdoor recreation industries for 35 years. He started his career as an independent RV dealer.
“LCI Industries has a resilient business model, deep customer relationships and a team that has proven it can perform through challenging environments,” he said.
Tracy Graham also stepped down from the board of directors after 10 years. Virginia Henkels succeeds him as board chair.
“In early 2026, I began discussing my succession planning with the board, and given the announced CEO transition and the commencement of a search for a permanent CEO, I believe now is the right time for this transition,” Graham said. “I have the utmost confidence in Ginnie, Johnny, and the team to carry LCI Industries forward and take it to new heights.”
Lippert Components opened a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in South Bend in October 2025.
LCI was founded in 1956 by Lawrence Lippert, who died in 2025. Jason Lippert is his grandson. The company now has more than 140 facilities in North America, Africa and Europe. It employs more than 12,500 people.
