Larson-Danielson Construction promotes estimator

Anthony Lara has a special talent for understanding complex tasks well enough just by looking at them to find efficiencies.

For his expertise, he was rewarded with a promotion to estimating manager at La Porte-based Larson-Danielson Construction.

“Anthony has proven to be an exceptional estimator with an appreciation for thoughtful collaboration and takes a data-driven approach in developing improved estimating processes,” said Nick Larson, Larson-Danielson vice president, in a press release.

He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the estimating department, including reviewing projects and working with field management personnel. Lara joined the construction company in 2020.

“I look forward to continuing the legacy Larson-Danielson has established as a leading contractor in Northwest Indiana,” Lara said. “My aim is to build upon the successful processes and procedures we have established in order to continually improve the accuracy of our cost estimates. I hope to be a trusted source to our communities and building partners for accurate and detailed cost information.”

Lara formerly worked for Spence Brothers in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for more than four years.

Lara is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Eastern Michigan University.

Larson-Danielson was founded in 1908.
