Boundless Recreation launches in Bristol

Boundless Recreation is investing $2 million in a 104,000-square-foot facility in Bristol.

A group of long-time experts founded the recreational vehicle manufacturer in 2025 to offer customers easy-to-service products.

“We founded Boundless Recreation because we believe the RV industry needs a different approach, one that puts quality components, thoughtful craftsmanship and accountability to the customer at the center of every decision,” said Nate Nickell, founder and president of Boundless Recreation, in a press release. “Our philosophy shapes everything from how we build our RVs to how we support owners long after the sale.”

The company already has hired 45 workers, with plans to increase that number to 115 by the end of 2028. Positions are expect to pay average salaries 125% of Elkhart County's everage wage.

The South Bend-Elkhart region is the center of RV manufacturing in the U.S., producing more than 80% of the RVs made in the U.S. and Canada.

“Indiana is known as the RV capital of the world, and we’re thrilled to welcome yet another company to the sector and to our statewide economy,” Gov. Mike Braun said. “Our commitment to making Indiana the best place to start and grow a business is paying off. Today, we rank 12th in the nation for our rate of new entrepreneurs as founders and companies like Boundless Recreation choose Indiana and our skilled Hoosier workforce for growth.”

Small businesses in Indiana employ 1.2 million people and are 99.4% of all Indiana businesses, according to the Indiana Economic Development Corp.

Boundless Recreation promises to make the buying and warranty process easy, according to the company's website.
