Actor Doug Jones will be the featured guest at the 2026 River Bend Film Festival in Goshen.
Jones, who was born in Indianapolis, is best known for his roles in “Hellboy” and “Pan's Labyrinth.” His most recent film was the short “Pretty Boys.”

“(Jones') extraordinary talent and dedication to performance art embody the creative spirit that the River Bend Film Festival celebrates each year,” said Neil King, festival director, in a press release. “Doug has been in so many memorable films, and he has so much experience to speak to. He’s going to have a lot to share with our audiences.”
The Goshen Arts & Events organizes the annual festival in downtown Goshen. The City of Goshen recently awarded the nonprofit a $5,000 community partnership grant to support the festival.
This year's lineup will take place Sept. 3 through 5 in the Goshen Theater.
“We value the festival’s commitment to diverse voices, accessibility, and artistic expression, and we’re proud of its contribution to Goshen’s unique cultural identity and vitality,” said Goshen Mayor Gina Leichty in a press release. “We look forward to once again hosting film lovers from around the world, and screening films inside our historic Goshen Theater.”
The festival was founded in 2002 in South Bend and moved to Goshen in 2016. It screens between 50 and 70 films each year.
Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Submit films here.
