Centier Bank donation to help Center for Healing & Hope buy building

Centier Bank’s $1,000 donation to the Center for Healing & Hope in Goshen is only the beginning for the nonprofit community health center.

The funds will be used to support the organization’s first capital campaign to buy their building at 400 W. Lincoln Ave.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive support from Centier Bank,” said Missy Schrock, executive director at the center, in a press release. “We rely on partnerships like this to further our mission, and Centier Bank has been a champion for good in Elkhart County for many years. It is a meaningful relationship we hope to build on to create further good.”

The building houses nine exam rooms, guest lobby, workspaces and modern medical equipment. A trolley route runs nearby.

The Center for Healing & Hope‘s mission is to offer affordable health care and advocate for immigrants.

“It’s more than a donation; it’s an investment in the well-being of our community,” said Michel Alvarez, Centier Bank’s Goshen branch manager. “We are proud to stand alongside CHH in creating a positive impact on lives in our community. This partnership exemplifies Centier’s commitment to building a healthier and more inclusive future for all.”

Centier Bank‘s Goshen branch is at 1716 Elkhart Road. The bank has more than 60 offices in 11 counties.
