The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s list of 2024 Best Places to Work in Indiana includes many companies from Northwest and North Central Indiana.
A record 193 Indiana businesses were acknowledged, 90 of them new to the list. Fifteen call the Region home.
“The Best Places to Work in Indiana program is such a great resource in today’s talent-driven economy,” said Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders in a press release.
Businesses that made the 19th annual list come from 40 municipalities throughout the state.
“The honored companies offer a blueprint for employee attraction and retention, and we are excited to celebrate their success,” Sinders said. “We hope that the values and strategies on display in their workplaces can serve as models for other Indiana employers as we work together to address Indiana’s talent pipeline needs.”
The Workforce Research Group managed the selection process, which was determined through employer reports and employee surveys.
“More and more organizations are valuing the feedback they receive through the anonymous employee survey component, which helps them better understand their own team members, and in turn, know if they are on the right track with policies or where they can improve their culture and productivity,” Sinders said.
Winners were selected in four categories, depending on the number of employees. Companies with headquarters out of state were eligible if at least 15 full-time employees work in Indiana.
Edward Jones, which has offices in the Region, has been on the list all 19 years.

The chamber will unveil the rankings during an awards ceremony May 8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Individual tickets are $15o each. Registration is required.
