Four Winds Casinos has opened a sportsbook lounge at its New Buffalo, Michigan site.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casinos unveiled the space, which features 22 televisions including eight 85-inch, six 65-inch, and eight 43-inch screens.
Guests can access the lounge through the main entrance near the sportsbook kiosks.
“We are very excited to welcome guests to our new Sportsbook Lounge at Four Winds New Buffalo to meet the growing demand for sports betting in Michigan,” said Frank Freedman, chief operating officer of Four Winds Casinos. “We feel the layout, design and finishes will provide guests with the right ambiance, comfortable seating options and great views of multiple screens to enjoy a refreshing beverage or cocktail while cheering for their favorite teams.”
Four Winds guests can wager on sports including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and other sports at its other Michigan casinos in Hartford and Dowagiac. Bets can be placed at any one of Four Winds’ sports betting terminals or they can create a bet slip on their phone and place the bet in house.
Sports betting was legalized in Michigan in December 2019. Online sports betting in Michigan became legal in January.
Four Winds also operates a casino in South Bend.
