IDEA Week 2026 will have a special guest this year – the winner of its design contest.
Creative types are invited to design original digital artwork that shows the innovative, creative and community spirit that is leading the area forward.
IDEA Week 2026 will take place April 20 through 24 in the South Bend-Elkhart region.
“This contest is both a creative opportunity and a celebration of the people who help shape IDEA Week,” said Marty Mechtenberg of the IDEA Week team in a press release. “By announcing our 2026 dates alongside the contest, we’re inviting designers to imagine and contribute to the full experience of IDEA Week.”
The winner will receive a $500 honorarium and public recognition during the week. IDEA Week merchandise also will feature the chosen design.
Artists must be 16 years old, and submissions must be received by Feb. 23. Designs that are easily screen printed on merchandise are encouraged. Find rules and submission guidelines here.
