Despite the cold, Tom and Elizabeth Pentenburg celebrated their latest Spherion Staffing and Recruiting location in Elkhart.
The grand opening celebration was slated for Jan. 15, but the weather caused a delay till Jan. 22 in the Easy Shopping Place center.
The new owners of the Spherion franchise location plan to build on almost 25 years of service to northern Indiana’s business community.
According to a Franchising.com article, Tom Pentenburg owns more than 20 Spherion offices in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. He discovered Spherion in 2009 when he opened his first franchising location.
Family is a key to their success.
“Working alongside my family is the best part of my job,” said Marty Pentenburg about working for his dad in a LinkedIn post. Marty is the regional market manager.
Spherion has been matching businesses and employees for 79 years. The company has 200 franchise offices in 36 states.
