Elkhart-based Troman Industries launched a new website that offers resources for transportation professionals.
The website offers information about fire safety and technology that help modern fleets succeed.
“Our goal was to build something more useful than a traditional company website,” said Tony Cunnane, CEO of Troman Industries, in a press release. “We want tromanindustries.com to become a destination resource for transit fire safety — somewhere an operator, maintenance professional, safety director or CEO can learn about the technology, understand the risks, access meaningful data, and make better-informed decisions for their fleet.”
The site will include articles about relevant topics and technical information, including safety concerns about bus lithium battery thermal events. Troman's Trident technology monitors truck systems for signs of trouble.
“Transit agencies are generating more information than ever, but information only has value when you can turn it into a decision,” Cunnane said. “Trident is designed around that idea. We’re bringing real-time monitoring, detection, notification, vehicle data, and mitigation together so an agency has both the information and the opportunity to act.”
The website also includes Troman product information.
“Our industry is changing quickly,” Cunnane added. “New propulsion technologies create new challenges, but they also give us an opportunity to rethink how vehicles are monitored and protected. We want this website to help transit professionals ask better questions, understand what is possible, and ultimately make better decisions.”
Troman Industries was founded in 2019.
