Surf Internet appoints new COO, VP of sales

Elkhart-based Surf Internet recently named Brent Williams as chief operating officer and Jay Campbell as vice president of sales.

As chief operating officer, Williams will oversee Surf Internet’s Fiber to the Premises build plans and work to maintain network stability. He brings experience in operations and engineering to his new role.

Prior to joining Surf Internet, Williams served as vice president of outside plant services at KGPCo and senior vice president of engineering/outside plant at Windstream. He oversaw broadband access projects covering residences and businesses nationwide.

“I am extremely excited to be joining the Surf Internet family,” Williams said in a press release. “From my very first interaction with Gene (Crusie) and the leadership team, it was evident that Surf is a family. It is that culture and the growth opportunity that attracted me to Surf.”

As Surf Internet’s vice president of sales, Campbell will be responsible for scaling the company’s sales channels, improving sales results and driving revenue growth.

Campbell brings over a decade of experience in sales leadership to his new role. Prior to joining Surf Internet, he served as senior director of sales at Hotwire Communications.

“With Surf’s focus on innovation and customer-centric approach, I am eager to leverage my experience in sales leadership to drive growth, improve sales results and enhance the overall customer experience,” Campbell said.
