Kruggel Lawton recently welcomed Brandon Gritton to the firm at the director level.
Gritton will be based in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. He will serve as the firm’s director, state and local tax practice leader, a newly created role. Gritton brings nearly a decade of experience focused on state and local tax (SALT) and a financial background to his new role. Gritton previously served as a financial management technician in the U.S. Air Force.
“Over the past year we have been strategically focused on strengthening and building our SALT practice,” said Barry Hall, Kruggel Lawton managing partner, in a press release. “We are excited to have Brandon join us. His specialized knowledge and expertise will enable us to expand our service offerings in this niche area, greatly benefiting our clients.”
Gritton earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ferris State University. He has an active Indiana CPA license and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
“I am thrilled to join Kruggel Lawton and lead the SALT practice,” Gritton said. “This is an incredible opportunity to leverage my experience and help KL clients navigate the complexities of state and local tax regulations. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and helping our clients achieve their financial goals.”
