Elkhart-based Lippert acquired the furniture assets of CWDS, a subsidiary of Camping World Holdings Inc.
The acquisition will allow Lippert to expand its selection of furniture products for RVs and marine craft.
“While we have been key partners for years, both organizations feel strongly that there is more to do to improve the customer experience as suppliers and dealers,” said Jason Lippert, president and CEO of Lippert, in a press release. “Our goal is to combine Lippert’s technical subject matter expertise, training, products and innovation with Camping World’s vast network of dealerships to be the leading force in RV installations, enhancements and repairs.”
Lippert is a premier vendor for Lincolnshire, Illinois-based Camping World. The acquisition will allow Lippert to position its products in Camping World retail stores, and expand its online product catalogs.
“We look forward to our expanded partnership as we collectively work toward further elevating the retail and service experience in our dealerships,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World.
Lippert began offering RV interior components in 2009. Lippert has more than 140 manufacturing and distribution facilities around the world, and employs more than 12,500 people.
