Two companies from Goshen have made the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s list of Indiana’s Best Place to Work in Manufacturing.
Viewrail and Wieland Designs are among the 17 companies that will be honored during the 2023 Best IN Manufacturing Awards Luncheon on Dec. 13 in Indianapolis.
Viewrail manufactures modern stairs and railings, and Wieland Designs makes chair coverings.
“Building on our popular Best Places to Work event, we’re excited to continue this program to highlight manufacturers that are striving to improve the lives of their team members,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “These companies embody the traits of a good employer, which starts with valuing and respecting workers.”
The winner of the latest Coolest Thing Made in Indiana competition will also be announced at the luncheon.
Entries are still being accepted for the popular Coolest Thing contest until Oct. 10. Companies face off in a tournament in a single-elimination bracket. Winners are chosen during a voting process and then advance to the next round. It is free for companies to enter one product. Voting begins in late October.
The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process for the Best Places to Work in Manufacturing. Companies range in employees from 32 to almost 930.
Winners also will be recognized in a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s “BizVoice magazine.”
The 2023 Indiana Best Places to Work in Manufacturing companies are listed in alphabetical order. The company rankings will be unveiled during the luncheon.
