Downtown South Bend’s First Fridays event in February will have a fire-and-ice theme.
The evening will include ice carving on site, fire dancing and a fireworks show from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 2.
Fireplaces downtown will include sites at at The Cellar, Chicory Cafe, Fiddler’s Hearth, South Bend Chocolate Cafe and W Lounge at Woochi, along with firepits at The Gridiron, Howard Park, LaSalle Grill, South Bend Chocolate Cafe, Studebaker Plaza and Woochi. Studebaker Plaza will offer a free s’mores station. Find a list of events here.
Thirty downtown restaurants also will offer value-priced menus for Winter Restaurant Weeks.
Downtown South Bend offers community entertainment on the first Friday of every month of the year.
