Founders name new leaders for Mom Water

Mom Water

Indianapolis-based Mom Water promoted two members of its founding team to executive leadership positions.

Kara Woolsey was named chief executive officer, and Adam Brames was promoted to chief operations officer. The ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage company was launched in 2021.

Bryce Morrison, co-founder of Mom Water, who is stepping down as CEO, will continue on as a spokesperson and creative lead alongside co-founder Jill Morrison.

Morrison said his sister, Woolsey, is the perfect choice to be the next leader of the company.

“She has been instrumental in our journey to date, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds,” said Morrison in a press release. “We’re equally thrilled to welcome my brother-in-law Adam into his new role as COO. His operational proficiency and experience are invaluable to our team.”

Woolsey has been COO since January.

“What we've accomplished together so far is truly remarkable,” Woolsay said. “I look forward to supporting our team in this next phase with the same passion that they bring to work every day.”

Brames has been director of supply chain since the company started.

The company recently launched Dad Water, a line of fruit-infused Tequila waters. Both are sold in stores throughout Northwest and North Central Indiana.

Jill Morrison's original formula started out as a non-carbonated alternative to spritzers that she made for her friends. It now is sold in 26 states and has nine employees.
