Anne-Marie D'Angelo recently was promoted to executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary and now is part of NiSource’s executive leadership team.
Her appointment as executive vice president was effective Jan. 30. Merrillville-based NiSource is the parent company of NIPSCO, which serves about 820,000 natural gas and 470,000 electric customers across northern Indiana.
D'Angelo, who joined the company in September 2019, had been serving as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. In her new role she leads NiSource’s legal functions and reports to Joe Hamrock, NiSource president and CEO.
“Anne-Marie has demonstrated the highest levels of integrity, judgment and leadership since she joined NiSource, and she is well-positioned to lead our team of talented and respected attorneys, and contribute substantially as a member of the NiSource executive leadership team,” Hamrock said.
Prior to joining NiSource, D'Angelo served as general counsel and corporate secretary for Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois. She also worked for McDonald's Corp.
D’Angelo earned a bachelor's degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
NiSource serves an estimated 3.2 million natural gas customers and 500,000 electric customers across six states.
