Indianapolis-based Morales Group was looking to add professional recruitment services to its staffing division. Career Transitions of South Bend was just the right fit.
Morales Group acquired the Michiana company, which was looking to transition ownership.
Jeff Lacy, the owner of Career Transitions, wanted a company to carry on his company's mission and to seek growth.
“Building Career Transitions has been an incredibly rewarding experience,” he said in a press release. “I am confident that Morales Group is the right fit to carry on our mission and continue providing outstanding service to our clients. Their expertise and values make them a perfect match for our business.”
Career Transitions, which was founded in 1987, offers talent acquisition, exempt contract staffing, outplacement and career management services.
Morales Group looked to Calder Capital, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to help them find the right company that offered talent acquisition services.
“From identifying the right target to guiding us through the complexities of the acquisition process, (Calder Capital's) expertise and commitment were invaluable,” said Luke Morales, Morales Group’s vice president of mergers and acquisitions. “Their proactive approach and deep industry insights made all the difference in ensuring this acquisition aligned with our long-term goals.”
Brian Hulecki, Career Transitions president, will remain with the company.
“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our three-year growth plan and strengthens our ability to meet the evolving needs of our clients,” Morales Group CEO Seth Morales said. “With this acquisition, we can offer enhanced professional search capabilities and bring even more value to businesses in need of top-tier talent.”
Max Friar, managing partner of Calder Capital, said the transaction was a perfect match.
“This acquisition is a testament to the power of strategic alignment and thoughtful execution,” Friar said. “Morales Group and Career Transitions share a commitment to excellence in workforce solutions.”
