Cushman & Wakefield chose Tony Ponzetti to direct the real estate services firm's South Bend office.
Ponzetti has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Most recently he led Navtrust, a practice that offered real estate advice for family offices.
“Tony’s background and regional focus strengthen our ability to serve clients across this important industrial corridor,” said Tim Michel, Cushman & Wakefield managing principal, Indianapolis and Michigan. “His appointment brings the reach, reputation and resources of one of the industry’s leading brokerage platforms to South Bend and the broader regional market and supports our continued growth in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.”
Ponzetti will focus on industrial sites with roots in manufacturing, logistics, technology and agriculture.
“I’m excited to join Cushman & Wakefield at a time of growth for the firm,” Ponzetti said. “Their platform is a strong fit for this region and its industrial focus in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan sit at the intersection of manufacturing heritage, logistics connectivity and long-term industrial development.”
Ponzetti earned a master's degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He started his real estate career with Chicago-based Grubb & Ellis in 2001. It was acquired by Newmark in 2012.
