Lighthouse Autism Center announces 6th North Carolina location

Mishawaka-based Lighthouse Autism Center continues its expansion with a new center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The 7,500-square-foot center is the second announced in North Carolina in less than a month. The Rocky Mount location will be the sixth in North Carolina.

โ€œWe are excited to bring Lighthouse Autism Centerโ€™s services to families in the Rocky Mount community,โ€ said Natalie Yates, clinical regional director, in a press release. โ€œOur goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality care that helps children with autism develop the skills they need to grow, communicate, and thrive. We look forward to becoming part of this community and supporting families throughout their autism journey.โ€

The center will serve 28 children and is expected to open in June.

Lighthouse Autism Center began in 2004 when Gregg and Sandy Maggioliโ€™s son was diagnosed with autism. Their journey led to ABA therapy and the founding of Lighthouse. Since then, the company has expanded to Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and North Carolina, along with 24 locations in Indiana.
