Guests from the Indiana Department of Transportation will address attendees at a luncheon hosted by the Elkhart Chamber’s Transportation Council Aug. 5.
The luncheon provides an opportunity to celebrate achievements and learn about upcoming transportation infrastructure in the Michiana area. Speakers will discuss the latest updates on local and state road projects, infrastructure plans and transportation initiatives that could impact commutes, business operations and the Region’s economic growth.
The Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce’s Transportation Council advocates for continuous improvement in the network that serves transportation needs in Elkhart County and connects the community to other areas. This includes highways, air transportation, rail service and other multi-modal forms of transportation.
The INDOT luncheon will take place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5, at the Matterhorn Conference Center in Elkhart. Learn more here.
