Jersey Mike’s Subs to open in La Porte

A new Jersey Mike’s Subs is opening Jan. 14, at 111 N. Madison Street in La Porte.

Franchise owners Rich and Paul Sikoral will host a grand opening and fundraiser Jan.14 to Jan. 18, to support La Porte High School. Customers who receive a fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to La Porte High School in exchange for a regular sub.

“We are very excited to be opening a Jersey Mike’s in La Porte and look forward to serving and supporting the community,” Rich Sikoral said in a press release.

Guests can place orders in-store or for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike’s app. Delivery will be available in most areas through the Jersey Mike’s app or through third-party delivery partners.

Jersey Mike’s meats and cheeses are sliced on the spot and piled on in-store baked bread. Jersey Mike’s fans crave their subs made Mike’s Way with onions, lettuce and tomatoes topped off with “the juice,” red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations have raised over $175 million for local charities. In 2025, the company’s 15th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised $30 million for over 200 local charities.

Jersey Mike’s Subs has over 4,000 locations open and in development. It uses the same recipe it started with in 1956. Passion for giving in Jersey Mike’s local communities is reflected in its mission statement: “Giving…making a difference in someone’s life.”
