Janus Motorcycles seeks Wefunder investors

Goshen-based Janus Motorcycles is looking for a few good investors. So far, the company has raised about $400,000 via an equity crowdfunding campaign on Wefunder.

They mostly have their existing customers to thank, those loyal to the Janus brand.

“When we opened this campaign, our riders were the first ones in. That's not a coincidence — it's a reflection of the community we've built and the quality they've come to expect from every bike that leaves our shop,” said Richard Worsham, founder of Janus Motorcycles, in a press release.

The campaign closes in April and requires a minimum investment of $250. The company's pre-money valuation is $33 a share. Cash on hand was $63,367, as of November 2025.

Worsham also noted in a Wefunder post that local support from Goshen has been encouraging.

“We chose to manufacture here deliberately,” he wrote. “Not because it was the lowest-cost option. Not because it followed a trend. We chose to build motorcycles in a restored brick dry cleaning facility in downtown Goshen because this community understands long-term work. There is pride in skilled labor here. There is respect for craftsmanship. There are families who value building something that lasts.”

The company reported a significant backlog of orders in their disclosures.

Worsham earned a master's degree in architecture from the University of Notre Dame.
