The South Bend Regional Chamber is hosting a seminar Aug. 5, entitled Start Here: Launching a Podcast for Your Business.
Jon Keur, owner and lead audio engineer at South Bend-based Wayfare Recording, will serve as the guest speaker. Keur will break down the basics of launching a successful podcast.
Keur will offer guidelines about equipment, identifying the target audience and developing engaging content. He will walk attendees through what they need to know to get started.
Using his background in music production and audio engineering, Keur launched Wayfare to support the fast-growing industry of podcasting. He coaches new and experienced podcasters. In 2021, Keur spoke at the Podcast Movement. He teaches a session on podcasting at the University of Notre Dame.
The seminar is geared towards small business owners, marketing professionals or entrepreneurs exploring new ways to connect with their audiences. The event is part of the chamber’s virtual Solutions for Success seminar series.
