Nature’s Cupboard opened a new store Oct. 25, at 613 Michigan Ave. in La Porte.
The natural foods store hosted a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of its newest location. The celebration featured local vendors I’m a FunGuy Mushrooms, Sundance Botanicals and Farming for Life. Julie Cooper offered sound bath demonstrations. Angelo Cicco played live music.
Nature's Cupboard offers organic ingredients, local meat and produce. They also sell eco-friendly products, vitamins and supplements.
Nature’s Cupboard was founded by LaVora Tucker and Evelyn Robertson in 1980. Nature’s Cupboard operates locations in Michigan City, Chesterton and La Porte.
