The Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce is hosting an OSHA breakfast about fall protection April 16.
Sampson Briggs, 3M Fall Protection, personal safety division, will serve as guest speaker. Briggs will share his passion for protecting workers at heights, highlighting the ABCs of fall protection. He will use 3M’s specialized fall protection vehicle for hands on demonstrations of drop tests and force measurements simulating restrained falls.
After the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session.
The event will take place 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 16 at the Matterhorn Conference Center in Elkhart. Learn more here.
The Elkhart chamber’s OSHA Council is an organization of member companies interested in workplace safety and health awareness. Representatives meet to update themselves on regulatory changes and network with safety professionals from other companies. The OSHA Council presents an ongoing breakfast series focused on workplace safety topics.
