Professional Women’s Conference announces speakers, sessions

A lineup of speakers is scheduled to deliver strategies and insights during the 2025 Professional Women’s Conference Nov. 12 in Michigan City.

This year’s event, expected to draw over 500 professionals from around the Region, will feature Elyssa Smith as a keynote speaker. Smith, a speaker and life strategist, will deliver the message, “Permission to Be You: From People-Pleasing to Powerful.” Her address will provide tips about harnessing self-power and leading with authenticity.

Also delivering a keynote address will be Sheeren Thor, a best-selling author and executive coach. In her keynote speech, “Revolutionary Woman: How to Lead in a World that is Set Up for You to Follow,” Thor will help attendees strengthen their decision-making skills through advice on self-leadership, boundary setting and confidence building.

The conference is presented by the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association. The event will also feature a series of breakout sessions led by speakers including:

  • Valentine Torres – A time management expert, author and teacher, Torres will deliver “Purposeful Productivity: Aligning Time with What Matters Most.” Attendees will learn how to manage time, prioritize tasks and establish effective workflows to achieve goals.
  • Patti Komaro —  Gymnastics business trailblazer Komaro will highlight, “From Transaction to Transformation: Redefining the Customer Experience.” In this breakout session, Komaro will show business leaders how to strengthen connections, brand and engagement.
  • Tradara McLaurine – Inspirational author McLaurine will provide focus on clarity in her breakout session titled, “Powerfully Aligned: When ‘No’ Leads to Your Best ‘Yes.’” Attendees will gain insights about setting boundaries and intentional leading.
  • Morgan Davis – Professionals looking to be seen can attend Davis’s breakout session, “You Belong at the Table: Mastering Career Visibility.” Davis will speak about career elevation, personal branding and advocating for yourself.
  • Elyssa Smith – In addition to the keynote speech, Smith will also conduct a breakout session focusing on “Stopping Stress in its Tracks So You Can Prosper.” Her insights aim to promote peace through addressing burnout before it happens.
  • Logan Secrist – Marketing expert and business leader Secrist will enlighten attendees on how to build a brand that shines. “Boss Brand, Queen Content” will deliver tips on personal branding, content strategy and visibility.
  • Andie Hines Lagemann – Lagemann will tap into her expertise as an emotional intelligence practitioner to help others achieve goals without losing themselves. “Burn Bright, Not Out” will provide actionable techniques to establish sustainability in leadership, energy, and long-term growth.
  • Anna Gomez – Gomez will explain how leaders can thrive in every season of their professional journey in a breakout session titled, “Ageless Impact: Owning Your Power at Every Stage.” Highlights will include multi-generational leadership and career reinvention.

The 2025 Professional Women’s Conference will take place Nov. 12 at the Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa in Michigan City.
