Jasper-based PIER Group was honored with the 2025 Triple Crown Award by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company.
The recognition celebrates top IT solution providers and technology integrators across North America. The award honors companies that earn a place on CRN’s three top industry lists—the Solution Provider 500, Fast Growth 150 and Tech Elite 250—reflecting growth, technical mastery and innovation.
PIER Group is an IT and cybersecurity solutions provider specializing in research universities and large academic institutions. The company secures and optimizes campus and research networks nationwide, including Indiana University, the University of South Carolina and the University of Maryland.
At Notre Dame, PIER Group helped modernize the 95-year-old stadium, overcoming the challenges of dense concrete and massive crowds. They deployed equipment that allowed for a high-speed fan experience supporting real-time stats, streaming, ticketless entry and future-ready applications like AR replays and IoT-based research.
“The Triple Crown represents everything our team stands for—collaboration, precision and the drive to innovate,” said Chad Williams, PIER Group president, in a press release. “Whether we’re modernizing a century-old stadium or engineering a next-generation campus backbone, our goal is to deliver infrastructure that fuels discovery, connection and community.”
PIER Group is currently working on bringing modern connectivity and enhanced digital experiences to the New Orleans Superdome.
“Triple Crown Award winners represent the pinnacle of performance in the channel,” Jennifer Follett, CRN, The Channel Company vice president of U.S. content and executive editor, said. “These solution providers demonstrate deep technical expertise, innovation and leadership across the industry. We applaud their achievements and look forward to watching them continue to set the standard for success.”
