Leer Group showcases new truck cap designs

Elkhart-based Leer Group recently released new truck cap designs for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma.

Leer Group’s design team created fiberglass caps that echo the style lines of the new Tacoma.

“We pushed the boundaries with this new styling based on our customers’ feedback, suggesting the industry is ready for new life,” said Jeff Hickey, chief design engineer, in a press release.

Leer Group has produced a line of products for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. The products include fiberglass and aluminum caps and sliding cargo trays. The company also makes rolling, folding and retractable truck bed covers for the Tacoma.

“Many people see their vehicle as an expression of themselves, and our products should be an extension of that thinking,” Hickey said. “At Leer Group we strive to create products that resonate with personal expression, making vehicles and accessories that stand out in a crowd.”

Leer Group has manufacturing plants in Indiana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and Mexico. The company has over 1,300 independent dealers across North America. The Leer Group has been a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co. since 1987.
