The Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast workshop Jan. 21, about artificial intelligence use in safety.
The event is entitled AI Uses in Health & Safety – Practical Applications for Safety Professionals. Ryan French, Barletta Boats CSP-EHS manager, will serve as the presenter.
Attendees will learn the basics of artificial Intelligence and its relevance to occupational safety. They will explore real-world AI applications in hazard identification, incident prevention and compliance. French will discuss how AI tools like ChatGPT can streamline policy creation, training and data analysis. He will also address AI-driven predictive insights for risk reduction and proactive safety management.
Attendees will gain actionable strategies and see live demonstrations of AI tools applied to safety tasks. They will also learn about limitations, considerations and best practices for implementing AI responsibly. Participants will receive free resources on Prompt Engineering and tips for leveraging AI.
