The Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Corp. of Michigan City and the Indiana SBDC Manufacturing Initiative are hosting a roundtable Sept. 9.
The manufacturing roundtable will offer Hoosier small businesses and entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector access to free business advising and training. Georgian Simion, manufacturing speciality advisor, will speak on topics including:
- Industry 4.0
- Production leadership
- Capital access
- Equipment evaluation
- Expansion planning
- Process improvement waste reduction
- Supply chain analysis
- New product introduction
- Quality control
The free manufacturing roundtable will take place 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 9, at EDCMC, Two Cadence Park Plaza in Michigan City.
The deadline to register is Sept. 8.
