Senior1Care names new executive VP

Mishawaka-based Senior1Care recently announced the promotion of Jane Francis to executive vice president of business development.

In her new role, Francis will focus on strategic initiatives to expand Senior1Care’s services and outreach. She brings over 20 years of experience in health care and business management to the position.

Francis joined Senior1Care three years ago as the executive director of Senior1Care’s offices in Fort Wayne and Angola. She previously worked for over 17 years as a post-anesthesia care unit nurse, followed by serving as the director of a surgical center.

Her career took a turn when she transitioned into the corporate world. Francis led a sales team for a retail company based in Dallas, TX. Her interest in serving others brought her back to the health care industry, particularly focusing on senior living.

“Her ability to foster a culture of partnership and collaboration has been instrumental in our success,” said Kyle Bossung, Senior1Care president, in a press release. “I have no doubt that Jane’s leadership in this new role will drive our organization forward and positively impact the communities we serve.”

Francis said she is honored to step into the role of executive vice president of business development.

“Making a difference in the lives of others has always been my passion,” Francis said. “Ensuring that more individuals and families have access to the support they need will make a lasting impact on our community.”

Senior1Care is a home care agency, specializing in non-medical services for seniors. The agency’s caregivers are licensed certified nursing aides. Senior1Care was founded in 2006 by father-son team Carl and Kyle Bossung.
