La Porte Co., Franciscan partner

La Porte County officials have approved a partnership with Franciscan’s HEALTHeACCESS.

The partnership will give county employees and their families access to a variety of health care services with no out-of-pocket costs.

“I believe that the partnership between La Porte County government and Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS will enhance our overall health care landscape to promote a healthier workplace and community,” said Monique Thomas, La Porte County human resources director, in a press release. “Together we can ensure that everyone has access to the care that they deserve.”

HEALTHeACCESS is a near-site clinic program that provides a network of clinics and expanded primary/urgent care access for participating employers. HEALTHeACCESS operates 17 clinics and has over 200 participating employers, like La Porte County. A new Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS office opened in July 2024 in the City of La Porte at 400 Legacy Plaza West.

“We’re excited to partner with the La Porte County government to provide employees, their spouses and dependents with convenient, high-quality care through HEALTHeACCESS,” Tim Ross, Franciscan Health director of employer solutions, said. “Our goal is to deliver exceptional access, continuity and support, whether that’s right here in La Porte or at any of our HEALTHeACCESS locations across the state.”
