South Bend-based Beacon Health System and Notre Dame Athletics announced a new multi-year collaboration.
The partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to advance the health and well-being of the Region.
“Beacon has maintained a strong relationship with Notre Dame over many years,” said Kreg Gruber, Beacon Health System CEO, in a press release. “By leveraging our collective strengths and uniting under a shared vision, we look forward to fostering meaningful and positive changes in the health of our communities.”
Beacon will have exposure and engagement with the Notre Dame community and fans across Notre Dame Athletics’ digital platforms and social media channels. Beacon will also provide game day presentations and activities during basketball games and hockey games.
“Just as our student-athletes rely on rigorous training and comprehensive health care to excel on the field, Beacon Health System provides vital health services that empower our community to thrive,” said Jim Fraleigh, Notre Dame Athletics director of corporate relations.
Fraleigh called the two entities more than partners.
“We are champions of wellness, dedicated to fostering a healthier future for everyone in our community,” Fraleigh said.
Beacon Health System is a nonprofit health care system. The system serves patients in Northwest Indiana and Southern Michigan. Founded in 2011, Beacon Health System operates multiple hospitals in Indiana.
