New Jersey-based Avenues Recovery Center hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate its new facility in South Bend.
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. The center in South Bend is the fourth Avenues Recovery location in Indiana. The company has facilities in Fort Wayne, Clarksville and Indianapolis.
Avenues at South Bend is located on the former site of the Saint Joseph Rehabilitation Institute. The new facility offers amenities such as bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, client lounges, recreation rooms, an in-house gym and outdoor areas. Its staff includes doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists, counselors and support staff.
“Avenues Recovery Center is offering an incredible opportunity for healing and hope to the South Bend/Mishawaka area,” said Anjenette Hasse, Avenues at South Bend clinical director, in a press release. “The lack of any local, high-quality addiction treatment centers has long presented a barrier for those seeking treatment in this region.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony included remarks by local officials, light refreshments and guided facility tours.
Avenues Recovery Center offers individualized treatment and care spanning detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient programming. Founded in 2016, Avenues Recovery Center has 17 locations across the nation.
