The Michigan City-based Lubeznik Center for the Arts is inviting the public to its annual holiday artisan market opening Nov. 7.
The art center’s gallery shop will expand into the main lobby through Jan. 2, to accommodate handcrafted gifts from over 60 local and national artists. Shoppers will find unique items including jewelry, ceramics, wearable art and more.
The Lubeznik Center for the Arts provides access to exhibitions and programs that explore contemporary ideas. In 1978, the John G. Blank Art Center was established in Michigan City. In 2003, Jack and Shirley Lubeznik, local residents, donated the current building for the growing art center, which was then renamed The Lubeznik Center for the Arts.
