Century Center stays with management company

Visit South Bend Mishawaka renewed its contract with Legends Global, which manages the Century Center in downtown South Bend.

Rebekah Love, general manager of Century Center for Legends Global, said the two-year renewal is more than just a contract.

“It signals renewed energy and a bold, forward-facing sales strategy focused on delivering results,” Love said in a press release. “With Visit South Bend Mishawaka leading sales efforts, Century Center is positioned to attract higher-impact business and increase visitation. The momentum generated through this partnership will drive meaningful economic impact, and our community will feel the positive shift as new opportunities, activity, and growth take hold.”

The contract began Jan. 1 and includes a one-year option to extend it beyond the two years.

The Century Center sits along the St. Joseph River and includes a 25,000-square-foot exhibit hall, 12,000-square-foot ballroom, and the 16,640-square-foot great hall. It also has 15 meeting rooms, two theaters and Island Park.

Legends Global is based in New York, and manages more than 450 venues, 20,000 events, and 165 million guests each year.
