Notre Dame FCU promotes longtime employee

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union announced the promotion of Tonya Brown to president of mortgage services.

Brown joined Notre Dame FCU in 1999. She brings over 25 years of experience in mortgage lending and management to her new role. Brown’s experience includes mortgage portfolio oversight, loan sales, regulatory compliance and team leadership.

As president of mortgage services, Brown will oversee the credit union’s mortgage operations, driving loan growth and ensuring compliance.

“Tonya’s leadership and expertise have been pivotal in advancing our mortgage services,” Thomas Gryp, president/CEO, said in a press release. “Under Tonya’s leadership, Notre Dame FCU’s Mortgage Service has earned the coveted distinction of being voted the Best Mortgage Company in Michiana by South Bend Tribune’s Community’s Choice Awards for the past six incredible years.”

Brown graduated magna cum laude from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She serves on the board of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association and the Edwardsburg Fire Auxiliary.
