Michigan City-based Horizon Bank has appointed Anthony Smith as president, private wealth management division.
Smith brings over 25 years of experience in wealth management, trust and fiduciary services and advisory leadership to the role. He most recently served as senior vice president, senior trust advisor and fiduciary group manager, as well as senior vice president, Central/Midwest region manager for a regional bank.
Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northern Illinois University. He earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Smith is also active in his community. He serves on a regional estate planning council, a hospital charitable foundation and a gift planning advisory council.
