Dig the Dunes hosted their 2026 Calendar Release Party Dec. 4, at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts in South Bend.
Community members gathered to celebrate the 2026 Dig the Dunes Calendar photo winners. Photographers were selected from hundreds of photos submitted to the Dig the Dunes calendar contest. The cover photo was taken by Peggy Carter.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet the photographers behind the images, explore the center’s newest exhibit and enjoy refreshments. They could also purchase the 2026 Dig the Dunes Calendar.
Dig the Dunes is website that aims to uncover some of the Region’s hidden treasures. The website offers information about beaches, trails, dunes, shops, restaurants, artists and people. Eve Wierzbicki started Dig the Dunes because of her love for the area.
