Northwest ISBDC to host pitch workshop

Community members are invited to a free workshop April 22 to learn how to elevate their elevator pitches.

The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center and the Economic Development Corp. Michigan City are partnering to offer the interactive event.

Eric Beschinski, NW-ISBDC entrepreneurial ecosystem navigator, will present a formula for crafting elevator pitches. Beschinski will outline a four-step template to catch the attention of prospective clients. Participants will practice techniques to make their pitches memorable and worthy of conversation.

“Whether you are starting a business, growing an enterprise, or scaling an empire, I can point you to the resources and people you need to succeed,” he said in his ISBDC profile. “We entrepreneurs tend to learn by doing. Often, however, there is a better way … learning from others.”

The workshop will take place 9 to 11 a.m. April 22 at 2 Cadence Plaza in Michigan City. Registration is free. Sign up by April 22. Learn more here.
