Lighthouse Autism Center expands footprint

Mishawaka-based Lighthouse Autism Center is expanding into North Carolina with new centers opening in Hickory, Statesville and Monroe.

The centers in North Carolina are slated to begin serving families in spring 2025. They will feature natural, play-based spaces, bright colors and therapy materials. The centers will offer ABA therapy, speech therapy, autism diagnostic testing, parent support and pre-academic learning.

“2025 will mark a major milestone for Lighthouse Autism Center with expanding outside the Midwest to North Carolina,” said Traci Meador, Lighthouse Autism Center director of special programs and expansion operations, in a press release. “We are thrilled to bring our services to more families, supporting and empowering them along their autism journey.”

Lighthouse Autism Center was founded in 2012 by parents of a child with autism. Lighthouse Autism Center operates a network of centers across Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and North Carolina.
