Goshen College president featured on podcast

Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus was recently featured on the podcast The Path Less Traveled, hosted by Craig Heatherly.

Heatherly, a former college basketball coach and director of basketball at the University of Cincinnati, interviews successful leaders, walking through their journeys and reflections on their careers.

In her episode, filmed in Goshen College’s Globe TV studio, Stoltzfus discussed her leadership, her goals for the college and her journey to find meaning in her work.

She and Heatherly spoke about joy — what it means to bring joy to your life and work, and where to find it. As someone who has spent much of her life in higher education, Stoltzfus said that “higher education should be rigorous — yet joyful.”

Stoltzfus talked about her goals for the college, and what she hopes for students to take away from their time at Goshen College.

“I believe that there is love and goodness in the world, I believe that there is divine intent in the world and I believe that is available to us,” Stoltzfus said in a press release. “So, what I want for all those that I love, and especially for our students, is that they really encounter that.”
