Steak and seafood restaurant opens in South Bend

Downtown South Bend hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cascade Prime Steak and Seafood in South Bend.

The restaurant is under the Navarre Hospitality Group portfolio. Kurt Janowsky, Navarre Hospitality Group CEO, operates nine restaurants and cocktail bars between South Bend, Mishawaka and Elkhart. Janowsky also runs a catering business.

The new restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating options with views of the St. Joseph River. The 8,000-square-foot restaurant also accommodates multiple private dining spaces.

Cascade serves prime-rated beef, which accounts for the top 2% of beef produced in the United States, in addition to Japanese Wagyu beef. The restaurant will receive fresh shipments of seafood six days a week, according to Janowksy.
