Michiana finalists vie for TechPoint 2025 Mira Awards

Several North Central Indiana organizations and people are among the finalists for TechPoint's 2025 Mira Awards.

Also known as “The Oscars of Indiana Tech,” this years 133 finalists were among 221 submissions that were evaluated by an independent team of judges. Twenty awards will be presented Feb. 27 at The Palladium in Carmel.

“Mira is always a very special time of the year for the entire community to come together,” said TechPoint President and CEO Ting Gootee in a press release. “The live judging was an uplifting experience to see so many innovators mingling and talking about what they are building for the future.”

The Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest is a finalist for the Community Impact Award.

“This recognition as a finalist for the Community Impact Award highlights the dedication of our team as we continue to champion innovation and entrepreneurship in Northwest Indiana,” according to statement from the Society.

The awards, which have been given out for 26 years, highlight the companies and people who innovate and help build the state's reputation as a technology leader.
